June 26th - The 900th Show - The Converts - Part 1

Joining Bill in the studio this week for our 900th show was The Converts from York making a welcome return to the studio. They are a 5-piece band and they came in on the hottest night of the year to date. They performed a great set of original songs, including one called 900 Shows that they had written especially for the occasion. The also brought with them half of the snacks available in the supermarket.

June 19th - Kieran Doyle + The Northern Project - Part 1

Joining Bill in the studio this week was two musical guests - Kieran Doyle making his umpteenth visit to the studio, and The Northern Project making his debut. The Northern Project is the solo project of Matt James, who is the singer/songwriter for Manchester based band MancUnion (who actually lives in Birmingham and travelled up for the show). This gave us 18 live songs on the show.

June 12th - Ian Martinson & Friends - Part 1

Joining Bill in the studio this week was Ian Martinson & Friends. Ian is a songwriter from Lincolnshire with a poetic touch that blends heartfelt lyrics with a melodic simplicity was joined by two excellent musicians Andy Cowan on guitar and Roy Lyon on Harmonica. Ian is one half of duo Emmandi, who have captivated audiences with their live performances and will be playing on the Fox's Den later in the year.
