March 21st - Dez Allenby & Peter Oak - Part 1

Joining Bill in the studio this week was East Yorkshire duo Dez Allenby & Peter Oak making their debut on the show (well, Dez has been on before both solo and as a member of other bands). Dez played a variety of instruments including Bazouki, Harmonica, Shruti Box and Kalimba, and Peter played percussion on Cajon, Djembe and some marvellous piece of electronic wizardry - an electric hand drum with over 1,300 sounds. They played a great set of folk songs and chucked a couple of covers in the mix, too.

March 7th - Terri Shaltiel - Part 1

Joining Bill in the studio this week was Leeds-based singer songwriter Terri Shaltiel making a welcome return to the show. Terri played a great set of original material in her blues/funk/jazz style, as well as a couple of covers, too. We also played some tracks from her album, Sweet Thing, which has been remastered at Abbey Road Studios in London and released on a limited edition vinyl.
