March 13th - Pig Iron - Part 1

Joining Bill in the studio this week was York rockers Pig Iron making a welcome return to the show. Comprising Neil on lead guitar and vocals, Rich on bass guitar and vocals, and Pete Box on drums (Pete lives in Scotland and records his drum beats into a box of tricks), the guys played a great mix of original and some covers in their heavy rock style. Rich also made coffee and provided strawberries, too!

March 6th - Steamtown - Part 1

Joining Bill in the studio this week was Knaresborough duo Steamtown making a welcome return to the show. Comprising Jeff on guitar and vocals and Ellie on banjo, harmonica, accordian and vocals, most songs were sung by Jeff due to Ellie being full of cold, though she did take lead on a couple and backing vocals on the rest. A great night was had by all and we look forward to their return to the studio in the future.

February 27th - The Promise - Part 1

Joining Bill in the studio this week was local covers duo The Promise making a long-awaited return to the show. Their last visit was as a trio in November 2015, but they went their own ways for a few years before reforming as a duo last year. Featuring Chris on lead vocals, foot tambourine, and shaker, and Kevin on guitar and backing vocals, the lads performed a great set of cover songs and we look forward to their return sooner than 10 years!
