Ben Farr - Part 1

October 15th, 2017

Joining Bill & Steve in the studio this week was Hull-based blues singer-songwriter Ben Farr, making a long-awaited return to the studio. Ben performed a great set of 7 original tunes and a cover, and as he'd run out of original material for the last song he repeated what he played first, so any late-comers to the listenership could hear on what they had missed out on.

The Fox's Den Show is broadcast live every Friday Night between 9pm & midnight and can be heard on air at 101.8FM in the western wolds area of East Yorkshire. The show is also streamed live at www.vixen101.co.uk and we can also be found at www.facebook.com/thefoxsdenshow and http://twitter.com/thefoxsdenshow.

Brian Williams - Part 1

October 8th, 2017

Joining Bill in the studio this week was Brian Williams, making his debut on the show. Brian performed a corking set of old-time blues. Armed with nothing more than a washboard, harmonica, tambourine and a pair of spoons, as well as his voice, Brian rattled, clattered and blew his way through some great tracks - and we are looking forward to his return, as are several listeners who have already requested a return visit from him.

Frankie - Part 1

October 1st, 2017

Joining Bill, Steve and The Lady of The Cake in the studio this week was 14-year-old local girl Frankie, making her debut on the show. Although she is a multi-instrumentalist, Frankie only brought one with her - a tenor ukulele, which she played in self-accompanyment to her set of original songs - which she did great, considering she was recovering from laryingitis and had lost her voice at the start of the week.

The Fox's Den Show is broadcast live every Friday Night between 9pm & midnight and can be heard on air at 101.8FM in the western wolds area of East Yorkshire. Evie Barrand - Part 1

September 24th, 2017

Joining Bill in the studio this week was 16-year old Market Weighton-based singer-songwriter Evie Barrand, making her debut on the show. Evie performed a fantastic set of her own material, accompanying herself on guitar. Due to the Lady of the Cake and Steve both being AWOL, Evie's dad joined in by nipping to the shop to buy himself a Frothy Coffee!

The Fox's Den Show is broadcast live every Friday Night between 9pm & midnight and can be heard on air at 101.8FM in the western wolds area of East Yorkshire. September 10th, 2017

Joining Bill, Steve and The Lady of The Cake in the studio this week was Aberdeen-based electronica duo Destination, making a welcome return to the show. They performed a fantastic set of original material as well as a couple of covers - so if you want to hear what an electronica House of The Rising Sun sounds like, have a listen.
