Rob Nicklas - Part 1

January 6th, 2019

Joining Bill in the studio this week for the first show of 2019 was Cottingham-based singer-songwriter Rob Nicklas. Rob tradionally appears on the show around this time of year and always provides us with some excellent entertainment. Rob performed a brilliant set of self-penned songs, and even changed the name of one of his songs at Bill's behest, from Sins to Sudden Violent Ending. We also started the new feature from The Suggestive Shepherd - this year's feature being called Shepherd's Purse, which aims to be an eclectic mix of music from many genres.

The Fox's Den Show is broadcast live every Friday Night between 9pm & midnight and can be heard on air at 101.8FM in the western wolds area of East Yorkshire. Ollie Smith & The Black Bucks - Part 1

December 23rd, 2018

Joining Bill, Steve and The Lady of The Cake in the studio this week was Ollie Smith & The Black Bucks - well, one of them, anyway! Ollie was joined by Mike, who played bass guitar and violin, but not at the same time! The performed a great set of original material, most of which was new to our ears. As it was the last show before Christmas, we also bunged a few silly Christmas songs into the mix, including the official Christmas number 1, a song about sausage rolls that made it to the top of the heap!

The Fox's Den Show is broadcast live every Friday Night between 9pm & midnight and can be heard on air at 101.8FM in the western wolds area of East Yorkshire. The show is also streamed live at www.vixen101.co.uk and we can also be found at www.facebook.com/thefoxsdenshow and http://twitter.com/thefoxsdenshow.
