White Sail - Part 1

March 17th, 2019

Joining Bill in the studio this week was York-based 3-piece folk band White Sail, making a welcome return to the studio. Comprising of Jane on guitar, mandolin, djembe and vocals, Sarah on harp, Appalachian Dulcimer, flute and vocals and Chris on guitar, mandolin and vocals they filled the studio with a wall of sound of excellent musicianship and harmonies. Due to the lack of crew, they even made coffee and found the emergency biscuits!

Consisting of 5 teenagers playing lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, drums and vocals, they performed a blinding set of 5 classic rock covers as well as 4 original songs.
